ORDER, SHIPPING AND RETURNS/EXCHANGES

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Once your order has been validated, it is not possible to add or delete items or to modify one model by another.

If your order has not yet been taken into account by our logistician and you wish to modify the size/color of an article or your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible at hello@weareamani.com indicating the reference of your order and the modifications to be made.

If unfortunately the modification is not possible, we invite you to return the article and we will invite you to place a new order. The cancellation of an order implies the immediate refund of the total amount of the order.

Where can I find my order confirmation?

After validating your order, you will receive a confirmation email including the invoice on the e-mail address you registered when you opened your Amani account. Feel free to check your spam if you can't find it directly. You can also find the report of your purchase on your Amani account, in the "My Orders" section.  We are also available at hello@weareamani.com to help you. 

My article has a defect...

We are absolutely sorry for this situation. Please know that we do our best every day to offer you products of impeccable quality, nevertheless it can happen that a part has a defect or a fragility and that we have missed it. We invite you to contact us at hello@weareamani.com and send us pictures within 10 days after reception of your product(s). We will be able to offer you the most suitable solution.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Our return/exchange policy is simple and straight-forward;

We process returns and exchanges within 10 days of purchase of your Amani products excluding sales and gift cards. 

Simply email us at hello@weareamani.com stating the reason of your return as well as mentioning your order number.  

Be aware that the return shipping costs will be at your charge. 

For any return/exchange, please respect the following elements in order for your request to be accepted and for your refund/exchange to be made: 

- Any item returned incomplete (product label, straps, zips, buttons), damaged, washed or stained will not be accepted. Thus the refund will not be made.

- The refunds for returns will only be possible on the card you previously paid with.

Please also note that returns are not applicable to our lingerie items (bras, panties and period underwear). We strongly advise you to follow our different size guides in order to choose the best model for your needs and avoid any product waste. 

What are your delivery times and prices?

For any order placed on the Site, we commit to prepare your order within 24 to 96 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) and within a maximum of 20 working days during peak periods (Christmas, sales, etc.).

When placing an order, you must choose the delivery method offered on the Online Store:

Courrier Guy for delivery in South Africa.

The delivery costs are calculated according to the delivery address indicated by the customer and vary according to the geographical zone.

Delivery charges are automatically proposed as soon as the order exceeds this amount for the following areas:

South Africa: Standard | Free for orders over ZAR1,500.00

In Store pick up (34 Kloof Street, Gardens): Free

Thanks to our store pick-up service, you can have an eshop order delivered free of charge to one of our stores.

My package has been returned to the sender, what should I do?

Your package is returned to us, it will be automatically refunded to the bank account used for the purchase and put back in stock. If you want it to be sent back to you, we invite you to reorder. We remain available on hello@weareamani.com to help you.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Is my online/shop payment secure?

The banking transactions made on our eshop are processed by our partner (Yoco) which offers a strict and confidential security system.

Payments in the store are also handled by our partner (Yoco).

What type of payment do you accept?

We are a cashless establishment, and we accept all major credit cards on our website and in our stores. Amani gift cards can only be used for online purchases.

Please note that refunds for returns will only be possible on the card you previously paid with. We do not refund gift cards or products on sale. 

How long does it take to get my money back? 

Your return package will be processed within 10 to 15 working days after receipt*. The amount is refunded to the bank account of the card used to pay for the order. The processing of your return will be confirmed by email. From this confirmation message, the refund will be effective within 5 to 10 working days.

For the complete return of an order, the shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

The refunded amount corresponds to the amount of the products returned with label and in perfect condition.

If you have benefited from a discount code when you ordered, the return will not be accepted as we do not accept returns for products from sales or gift cards.

If after 3 weeks, your return has still not been processed by our team, do not hesitate to write to us at hello@weareamani.com.

*These delays may be extended during sales, collection launches or busy periods.

How does Amani Period panties work?

Amani period panties are underwear that absorb your period and other vaginal secretions. Each panty is made with a patented, ultra-thin design that absorbs moisture, controls odour, soaks up liquid flow and resists leakage up to 12 hours in a row. So you stay fresh, dry and comfortable during each of your menstrual cycles, no matter what your activities.

Are Amani Period Panties products safe?

Yes, and we are proud to say that this is one of our primary concerns. We take everyone's health and safety seriously, which is why all Amani Underwear products are made from natural materials that are healthy for the body and the environment. 

Can Amani Period Panties replace my current routine?

Depending on your flow (light, moderate, heavy) and your desire, our panties can replace pads, towels, tampons and cups, or be worn with tampons or cups for extra protection. We recommend that you try our different styles at home to develop your new routine. 

How much liquid can Amani Period Panties hold?

Our Casual model can hold up to 3 regular pads (27 ml). We recommend using our Brazilian model when your flow is weakest, at the beginning or end of your cycle, to avoid any unintentional leakage. Our absorbency levels vary depending on the style you choose. We recommend that you try each of our styles for the first time at home to see how they best fit your body and your "flow".

Where are Amani Period Panties made?

We have chosen to partner with a competent, local factory to bring you quality products while trying to reduce our ecological impact and promote employment in Cape Town at the same time. Our manufacturing partner is a true production expert who matches our additional values by prioritising the ethical and sustainable development of the products and their working environment.

How to care for your Amani Period Panties?

In order to take care of your panties, we have put at your disposal (on our website) care instructions.

In addition to these, here are a few things to take into account; 

- In case your article has been in contact with greasy substances, cosmetics, or perfumes that have caused stains, we advise you to rub the fabric with colourless Marseille soap.

- We recommend you to put your article in a laundry bag before washing. And to use a soft detergent for a machine delicate in 30° with the weakest spinning.

- Although the technology of our panties is hygienically optimal, we recommend that you do not use any other panties than yours in order to avoid any involuntary transmission of potential microbes. 

How do I know what level of absorbency to buy?

To determine which Amani Period Panty models are right for you, consider how light/medium/heavy your flow is during your menstrual cycle. Our models have two levels of absorption, from lightest to heaviest, mentioned in each product description. 

We advise you to use your panties for the first time at home to gauge your sensations and to understand your optimal use time. As a reminder, our period pants can be worn for up to 12 hours in a row without risk of infection, depending on your flow and your activities. 

How do I choose the right panty size?

We recommend that you use our handy size chart to determine your hip and waist size, and the best panty size for you. We understand that underwear sizes can vary from brand to brand, so all of our models are configured in some way to ensure that you always find comfort when you first buy.  

Do you have any restocking planned? 

Our environmental approach is to produce as little as possible in order to avoid overproduction and to offer you unique small series.

We also offer you the possibility to pre-order our new models before their availability on the website or in stores to reserve the model(s) that interest you.

GIFT CARD AND PROMOTIONS

How can I give/use an Amani gift card?

We offer a gift card in electronic and paper versions (R600, 1,000, R1,600, R2,000). The gift card is valid for one year and can be used in one go on the eshop only.

The e-cards are sent to the e-mail address of the Amani account used to place the order. We invite you to forward it or print it for the lucky one.

How to benefit from our promotions?

We always choose not to over-produce in order to avoid unnecessary and environmentally harmful over-consumption. Our pre-orders are privileged in order to plan the manufacturing in the most efficient way possible. But, in all transparency, it may happen that our optimism gets the better of us in terms of the quantities we organise for sale. To remedy this, we organise sales at reasonable prices.

How do I create my Amani account?

Click on "My account" at the top right of the homepage of our e-shop and then click on "create an account" under "New customer".

Fill in all the necessary information to create your account. If, despite this information, you encounter difficulties, please contact us by email at hello@weareamani.com.

I can't access my Amani account...

You can reset your password by clicking on "I forgot my password" and entering your email address so that a reset email can be sent to you. Feel free to check your spam or email us at hello@weareamani.com with your first and last name and/or the email address you used to login.

How to subscribe and unsubscribe to the newsletter?

Subscribe to our newsletter by checking the box "receive our newsletter" when you create your Amani account or in the "Newsletter" section on our website. 

By subscribing to our newsletter, you will be informed of new products, restocking and offers throughout the year. To unsubscribe, please click on the link at the end of each newsletter.
